RF measurements are performed by making a direct connection through cable to the DUT (conducted environment) as opposed to radiated environment as conducted measurements are much more consistent. For this purpose an RF test point shall be provided on the DUT.
The DUT consists of an RF transceiver to be tested for standard compliance. It also provides the circuitry to control the device and achieve test automation in order to optimize test times and achieve higher throughput.
